Directions to the Center
The Christine Center is a retreat center located in central Wisconsin between Eau Claire and Marshfield (about 2 1/2 hours from Minneapolis, 2 1/2 from Madison, 5 from Chicago, and 4 from Milwaukee). Drive with awareness through deer country!
From the Northwest: (Twin Cities)
(Note: Follow these exact directions because there are two County G roads. Drive past the first County G (in Eau Claire County) sign you see off Hwy 10. You will stay on County I for nearly 15 miles before you turn on County G (in Clark County). Take I-94 to Osseo (Exit 88). Turn east (LEFT) Hwy 10 for about 15 miles to County I. Go north (LEFT) on County I (in Clark County) for about 15 miles to County G, then go north (LEFT) ONE MILE on County G---look for the Christine Center sign on your left. Turn west (LEFT) on Mann Road and follow it in about ½ mile to the main building OR… Take I-94 East until you come to Hwy 29 East (Exit 52). Take Hwy 29 East until you come to Thorp (Exit 108). Exit on to County Hwy M (RIGHT) driving south for approximately 15 miles until you come to County Hwy GG. Turn east (LEFT) and go 4 miles until you come to County Hwy G. Turn south (RIGHT) on Hwy G and go 3 miles to Mann Road. Turn west (RIGHT) and follow the road to the main building.
From the Northeast:
(Green Bay, Marinette, Upper Michigan)
Take Hwy 29 WEST to County O
Turn south (LEFT) on County O to County Hwy G (about 13 miles). Turn west (RIGHT) on County G. Follow County G through Willard. From Willard, go another 2 ½ miles---look for the Christine Center sign on your right. Turn west (RIGHT) on Mann Road and follow it in about ½ mile to the main building.
From the Southeast: (Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago)
Take I-94 to Black River Falls. Take the Hwy 12/27 exit (Exit 115) at Black River Falls. (*)Turn north (RIGHT) on Hwy 12/27 to Hwy 10 (about 22 miles) Turn right on Hwy 10 and then an immediate LEFT (NORTH) on County I. Go north on County I for about 15 miles to County G (there will be a stop sign). Turn north (LEFT), and go 1 mile on County G---look for the Christine Center sign on your left. Turn west (LEFT) on Mann Road and follow it in about 1/2 mile to the main building.
From Appleton:
Take Hwy 10 to the Hwy 10 and 13 intersection just south of Marshfield. You are traveling west. (Do not take the first Hwy 13 turnoff as this takes you into Marshfield.) You will now cross (still going west) Hwy 10/13 and are now on County Hwy BB. Go 2 miles west to County Hwy B. (You will come to a stop sign.) Turn north (RIGHT) on County Hwy B and go another 2 miles. This will bring you to County Hwy H. Turn west (LEFT) and continue west on County H to Hwy 73. Cross Hwy 73 and keep going west. County H will end and merge with County G. Continue going west on County G until you come to the corner of County I. (There will be a stop sign and a "Right turn no stop" sign).
Turn north (RIGHT) (still on County G) and go 1 mile--look for the Christine Center sign on your left. Turn west (LEFT) on Mann Road and follow it in about ½ mile to the main building.
From Southwest: (LaCrosse, WI)
Take I-94 to Sparta (Exit 25). Turn north (LEFT) on Hwy 27 to Black River Falls. Hwy 12 and 27 merge in Black River Falls. Continue following directions From the Southeast to The Christine Center where the asterisk (*) is marked.
