Christine Center Capital Campaign Moves Toward Completion

Updated as of December 30, 2011

Day-by-day life at the Center prompts us to embrace new moments as we courageously move toward the conclusion of the Capital Campaign by the end of 2011.

Your continued kindness and generosity empowers us to continue our efforts to meet our million dollar goal, even in these challenging economic times. Because of each of you, we live and move in calmness as we continue our plans to raise the remaining $10,000. Thank you!

The energy and dynamism of the Christine Center draws seekers of all spiritual paths to its mission of spiritual deepening for global transformation, and the Center is graced and blessed by them. Our atmosphere of solitude and silence grounds our guests in the fertile quiet of roots reaching deeply. It is our passionate hope that the completed projects provide all of our guests with more adequate and comfortable facilities.

We now share with you the progress that we have made towad our million-dollar goal.

Phase One saw the upgrading and renovation of eleven hermitages and Shekinah (the house) and the addition of the new modern log cabin, Guadalupe (an overall investment of $108,701.00).

Phase Two was the construction of Siloe. This is a modest but practical structure for laundry, bathrooms and showers, and additional sleeping space. This eco-friendly building uses solar energy for the hot water and heat (an investment of $204,242.00).

Phase Three is now complete with the building of the new wing including a Chapel, library, two meeting rooms and four offices which are heated and cooled by a geo-thermal system. The expansive feel and beauty of the new wing is a joy to behold and experience (an investment of $535,000).

Phase Four is the final phase of the Capital Campaign, to be completed this year, 2011. We only need $10,000 to reach our million dollar goal. We count on your generosity once again to complete the payments on the $100,000 loan for the new wing and for ongoing projects.

The Christine Center staff considers it an honor and privilege to serve our guests. We are inspired by all who come in search of the Divine. The Center experience is created not only by the staff, but also by our guests. There is so much for which we are grateful to you: your loving presence at the Center, your search for spiritual deepening, your shared gifts, and your financial contributions. Together we help create the Christine Center experience.

We invite your prayerful support of the Christine Center and its mission. As we promised, we have placed a Donor Book at the entrance to the Center's Mary of the Angels Chapel. Our donors and supporters are honored in this book. We pray for our donors daily, and open our hearts to you in gratitude for all you are and do. Praise God from whom all blessings come!

As the Director of Fund Development, I add my personal gratitude to each of you.
