Facility Rental
Set atop a hill, the 8,500 square foot facility has three round buildings, each 52 feet in diameter. Ecologically harmonious and energy efficient, it uses passive solar design with large south-facing windows and ceramic tiled cement floors to store the sun's energy. The three buildings have connecting wings. The east building is the Guest House with sleeping accommodations for up to 15 guests.
The center building is the Welcome Center and connects the main entrance with the offices, kitchen and dining room, and library/bookstore. Marking the entrance is the silo, a landmark from the former building that serves as a bell tower to call people to meditation and meals.
The west building is the Meditation Chapel, a large, open space for group meditation and activities. Its domed ceiling with skylights and large windows create a light, airy feeling that invites the spirit to soar. The radiant floor heat provides balanced warmth that is quiet, while the hardwood dance floor is a delight for dancers.
The connecting wings contain a laundry room, storage, mechanical rooms, and bathroom and shower facilities for campers and those in the rustic hermitages.
We are deeply grateful to our friends and benefactors who have made this possible.
